- They are distored compared to normal views of the image. They work
- best on curved objects. I personally prefer taking a normal rendered
- texture into TrueBrilliance and do this:
-
- Take a copy of the whole right edge of the image, about 50 pixels
- wide. Paste it onto the spare screen. Take a copy of the left edge of
- the image, again 50 pixels thick, and flip using te "x" key. Paste
- exectly next to the image you pasted down on spare page but on the
- right hand side of it. Use smear and 50% transparency to blend the
- centre of the image together so it looks convincing. Now cut out the
- right half, flip, and paste back on original image. Do the same for
- the left half. Now repeat but do it with the top and bottom edges. I
- hope you understood what I'm trying to say!
-
- I *know* this takes longer, about 10 minutes actually by hand, but it
- is MUCH better than using Repetition in Essence.
